Team Overview:

As part of the Marketing group, the Brand Marketing and Strategy team is seeking a Brand Manager. The Brand Manager will act as a program owner and lead the operational performance and delivery rhythm of the Brand Strategy & Creative Services team. This role connects enterprise and marketing priorities to brand strategy, brand management, and creative delivery by overseeing how work is planned, prioritized, and executed across the portfolio.

Acting as a bridge between stakeholders, strategists, and designers, the Program Owner drives alignment, efficiency, and quality - enabling the team to deliver high-impact brand work, while advancing strategic initiatives, strengthening governance, and supporting long-term brand adoption across the organization.

What you will be doing:

Program Planning and Road Mapping:

- Translate enterprise, marketing, and brand priorities into a quarterly roadmap and actionable backlog for Brand Strategy & Creative Services, in partnership with the Director and Senior Brand Strategy Manager.

- Maintain and refine the roadmap to reflect shifting priorities, delivery timelines, team capacity, and stakeholder expectations.

- Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements to support planning, decision-making, and transparency.

Intake, Prioritization and Stakeholder Triage:

- Own the end-to-end intake and prioritization process, assessing business value, urgency, effort, risk, and alignment with team priorities.

- Triage incoming requests, clarify stakeholder needs, determine scope and ownership, and set expectations for delivery and next steps.

- Manage demand and capacity constraints by recommending sequencing, trade-offs, and escalation where required.

- Manage the Brand Manager inbox and brand enablement requests, ensuring timely routing, response, and follow-up.

- Improve the quality and consistency of incoming work through effective briefing requirements, intake documentation, and acceptance criteria.

Delivery Enablement and Operations:

- Facilitate agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and team huddles.

- Support workload management and resolution of delivery blockers to maintain efficient, predictable project flow.

- Identify and implement improvements to processes, tools, and operating practices using team feedback, stakeholder input, and delivery data.

Quality, Governance and Brand Enablement:

- Support quality assurance reviews to ensure work aligns with brand standards, project objectives, accessibility requirements, and stakeholder expectations.

- Maintain and enhance governance frameworks, including service standards, intake processes, workflows, and escalation paths.

- Identify recurring quality or process issues and implement improvements through enhanced guidance, templates, and tools.

Team Collaboration and Ways of Working:

- Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting accountability, clarity of roles, and consistent ways of working.

- Support onboarding by ensuring team members understand workflows, tools, expectations, and delivery practices.

- Maintain shared visibility into priorities, decisions, and deliverables across strategy, brand management, and creative services.

Reporting, Insights and Strategic Support:

- Support the Director in protecting strategic capacity by reinforcing prioritization decisions and balancing delivery demands with long-term brand initiatives.

- Coordinate key team initiatives and operational activities that advance brand management and enablement objectives.

- Track and report on team performance metrics, including Brand Hub engagement, Brand Ambassador communications performance, and delivery metrics, to inform planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, business administration, design management, project management, or a related field.

- Minimum of five years’ experience in brand, marketing, communications, brand, creative services, project/program management, or a related discipline.

- Demonstrated experience coordinating or managing cross-functional marketing, brand, communications, or creative initiatives from intake through delivery.

- Experience managing priorities, timelines, risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience working with creative, design, digital, communications, or agency teams, with the ability to support briefing, review, feedback, and quality assurance processes.

- Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at different levels, including the ability to synthesize information and support decision making.

What will make you stand out:

- Experience in a brand centre of excellence, creative services, marketing operations, agency, or similar environment.

- Experience developing or improving intake processes, governance frameworks, service standards, and ways of working.

- Experience supporting brand governance, accessibility standards, design systems, digital asset management, or brand enablement initiatives.

- Experience applying Agile, Kanban, or similar delivery practices and tools to manage marketing, communications, or creative work.

- Experience tracking performance metrics and using insights to support planning and continuous improvement.

- Strong understanding of brand management principles, including governance, visual identity, messaging consistency, creative quality, and brand adoption.

- Bilingual in both official languages (French and English).
