Job Description:

Job Purpose: The Family Services Coordinator provides holistic approach serving the community through our food bank and Christmas distribution program in accordance with Salvation Army mission, values, and standards.

Characteristic Job Duties:

The incumbent is responsible for the following range of job duties characteristic or typical of the job class:

- Coordinate Food Pantry
- Work towards the goal of improving the nutritional well-being of the participants
- Daily input of statistics to Client Management System (CMS) under the direction of the current Family Services Coordinator.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Removing garbage and trash
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Sweep floor
- Replenish supplies
- Work along side the Truck Driver for disposal of aged merchandise
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Food Safe Certificate•

- Pass a Police Security Clearance Check•

- Handle up to 50lbs weight•

- Knowledge of shopping, nutrition, and household budgeting

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Able to work with street-involved adults in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner and willingness to support the mission oof The Salvation Army

Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is BD$17.67 to BD$22.09 with a maximum of BD$26.51.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
