The Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of our Washington, DC office.

This position will play a key role in ensuring the office operates efficiently and effectively. The Office Manager will oversee office operations, coordinate administrative support, manage vendors and facilities, support attorneys and staff, and serve as a central point of contact for day-to-day office needs.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with strong communication and leadership skills. This individual should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, coordinating with Firm leadership and staff, and maintaining a welcoming, well-run, and professional office environment.

What you Will Do

As an Office Manager in our Washington, DC Office , the following duties would be expected of you:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Washington, DC office and ensure the office functions efficiently and professionally.
- Manage and coordinate the work of administrative and office support staff, including assigning responsibilities, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring workflow.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for attorneys and staff regarding office operations, administrative needs, and Firm policies and procedures.
- Coordinate office calendars, meetings, events, visitors, and other office activities.
- Manage relationships with building management, vendors, service providers, and other external partners.
- Oversee office facilities, including maintenance, repairs, security, access, supplies, equipment, and general office upkeep.
- Manage office supply inventory and procurement, ensuring appropriate supplies and equipment are available to support daily operations.
- Coordinate the purchase, maintenance, and replacement of office equipment, furniture, technology, and other business needs in partnership with appropriate Firm teams.
- Assist with office budgets, expense tracking, invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
- Review and process administrative invoices and expenses, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals.

What You Will Bring

Our ideal candidate will have significant office management or administrative operations experience and the following credentials/skills:

- 5+ years of office management, office administration, administrative operations, or a related role; experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred.
- Prior experience supervising, managing, or coordinating the work of administrative or office support staff.
- Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day office operations in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Experience managing vendors, facilities, office supplies, equipment, and other operational needs.
- Experience with budgets, expense management, invoices, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, staff, Firm leadership, vendors, and external contacts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational issues.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually , depending upon experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
