BAE Systems in Huntsville, Alabama is looking to add a Stockroom Lead to the team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming material (GFE, GFM, subcontractor parts, etc.)
- Maintaining accurate stock records in ERP​​​​​​, obtaining Supplier Partnership/Supply Chain Stockroom Metrics
- Performing daily cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Generating weekly inventory status reports for the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager
- Following BAE Systems safety, security, and hazardous‑material procedures
- Issuing material to manufacturing/operations on time, updating work orders
- Coordinating with the Supply Chain team to resolve shortages
- Identifying process bottlenecks and suggesting improvements
- Continuing to improve HBC Logistics-Stockroom Standard Operating Procedures and functional framework in order to provide direct Stockroom support to HBC aligned programs and general support to HBC assigned personnel
- Mentoring junior stockroom staff
- Maintaining central repository of command media, written instruction, and visual aids (process maps)
- Maintaining access and implementing corresponding stockroom software and/or applications (Oracle, Paperless, SharePoint, Data View, etc.)
- Networking and developing meaningful/beneficial relationships across the BAE spectrum (senior supply chain, HBC site specific, and/or supporting internal/external parties)
- Training and collaborating with Nashua HQ personnel (further cultivate Stock Room understanding, achieving consistency, efficiency, and inventory accuracy)
- 100% compliance in internal and external audits
- Publishing weekly reports (Shelf Life Expiration, Moisture sensitive material, etc.)
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School diploma and 5-7 years in inventory control, material handling, or warehouse operations (an Associates Degree in Logistics, Business, or related field may be substituted in lieu of experience)
- Ability to obtain/maintain required security clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $57685 - $92297

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
