About this role

The Siegel Group is seeking an experienced, certified Master Plumber to support plumbing maintenance, repairs, installations, and improvement projects across our property portfolio. Based in Las Vegas, this position travels between local properties and supports projects in the Reno market as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of plumbing experience, an active Nevada Master Plumber certification, and experience supporting multi-unit properties, preferably multifamily residential communities, extended-stay properties, or hotels. This is a hands-on role requiring sound technical judgment, independent problem-solving, and professional service in occupied environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems serving individual units, common areas, and shared building infrastructure.

- Install, repair, and replace piping, fixtures, valves, toilets, sinks, faucets, water heaters, and related plumbing components.

- Troubleshoot domestic water distribution, hot water recirculation, drainage, waste, and vent systems, including identifying leaks, pressure issues, and recurring failures.

- Clear drain and sewer obstructions using appropriate equipment; conduct camera inspections and coordinate additional diagnostics when needed.

- Perform preventive maintenance and recommend repairs or replacements that improve reliability, reduce water waste, and prevent property damage.

- Respond to urgent plumbing issues, assess the source and extent of the problem, and coordinate corrective action with property and facilities teams.

- Plan water shutoffs and service interruptions with property management to minimize disruption to residents and guests.

- Complete plumbing work for unit renovations, property upgrades, and assigned capital improvement projects.

- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and manufacturer instructions; complete work in accordance with applicable codes and safety requirements.

- Estimate labor and material needs, coordinate supplies, and communicate project status, costs, and completion timelines.

- Provide technical guidance to property maintenance teams and coordinate with outside contractors when specialized support is required.

- Maintain accurate work orders and records of repairs, inspections, materials, and outstanding issues.

- Protect occupied spaces, maintain clean work areas, and interact professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and employees.

- Travel between Las Vegas-area properties and to Reno for assigned projects, including overnight travel as needed.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Current Master Plumber certification issued by the Nevada Board of Plumbing Examiners (NBOPE), maintained in good standing throughout employment.

- At least four years of hands-on plumbing experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

- Experience with multi-unit properties , including plumbing systems serving multiple residential units or guest rooms.

- Strong working knowledge of plumbing codes, safe work practices, piping systems, fixtures, and plumbing tools and equipment.

- Ability to diagnose complex problems, prioritize assignments across multiple properties, and complete work with limited supervision.

- Ability to read plumbing drawings and specifications and develop practical repair plans and material estimates.

- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

- Valid drivers license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

- Ability to travel regularly within the Las Vegas area and to the Reno market as projects require.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in multifamily residential, extended-stay, or hotel environments.

- Experience with central hot water systems, recirculation pumps, shared supply lines, and building sewer systems.

- Experience supporting occupied-property renovations and plumbing replacement projects.

- Experience guiding maintenance technicians and coordinating plumbing vendors.

- Familiarity with electronic work order and maintenance tracking systems.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This position involves active plumbing work in occupied units, mechanical areas, and indoor and outdoor environments. Essential duties include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing ladders, accessing tight work areas, and safely handling plumbing tools, materials, and equipment.
