- Translate business objectives into clear media recommendations in partnership with internal leadership and agency partners.

- Develop and maintain campaign budgets, timelines, audience strategies, channel recommendations and measurement requirements.

- Contribute to media strategies and points of view through research, ideation, data evaluation and an understanding of how channels support business goals.

- Support competitive analysis, identify emerging partner opportunities and stay current on media industry trends and platform developments.

- Understand how individual campaigns fit within the broader paid media strategy and business priorities.

- Manage multiple concurrent campaigns and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Agency Management

- Lead day-to-day collaboration with external media agency partners, providing clear direction, evaluating recommendations, resolving open issues and ensuring deliverables are accurate, complete and on time.

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Partner closely with Creative, Project Management, Analytics, CRM, Site, Finance and other marketing teams to support successful campaign execution.

- Proactively communicate media requirements, specifications, deadlines and dependencies.

- Monitor creative and other campaign inputs and follow up before deadlines are at risk.

- Coordinate creative workflows, including briefing assets, facilitating reviews, consolidating stakeholder feedback and securing final approved assets for trafficking.

- Raise risks early and clearly communicate potential business or campaign impact.

- Push back constructively when timelines, assets or deliverables do not meet campaign requirements.

- Come to meetings prepared to provide status, identify outstanding decisions and recommend next steps.

Budget & Performance Management

- Maintain accurate campaign budgets and regularly monitor pacing and performance.

- Identify under- or over-spending and recommend appropriate actions.

- Review campaign performance to identify trends, opportunities and areas requiring optimization.

- Partner with agency and analytics teams to interpret campaign reporting, identify performance drivers and translate findings into actionable optimization recommendations.

- Understand key paid media KPIs and how performance relates to campaign and business objectives.

Operational Excellence & Quality Control

- Maintain accurate campaign documentation, naming conventions, budgets, briefs, trackers and timelines.

- Own campaign setup and launch readiness with internal and external partners, including asset procurement, trafficking, linking and tagging.

- Verify campaign deliverables against approved briefs, specifications and budgets before submission or launch.

- Conduct pre-launch quality assurance across creative assets, links, tags and tracking to resolve discrepancies before campaigns go live.

- Coordinate media requests and in-flight changes from merchant and business partners, assessing implications for timing, budget and execution.

- Partner with Finance and agency teams to ensure campaigns are accurately and promptly reflected in billing systems; track vendor agreements, contracts and related documentation.

- Maintain a centralized library of partner overviews, publisher proposals, campaign examples and screenshots to support research, planning and future recommendations.

- Maintain current campaign status, ownership, deadlines and next steps in shared trackers so stakeholders have a clear view of progress and open actions.

- Ensure appropriate coverage and thorough handoffs during planned time away.

Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience in paid media planning, digital media, performance marketing or a related field.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

- Experience managing multiple simultaneous campaigns and budgets across paid media channels.

- Working knowledge of display, paid social, programmatic video, CTV/OLV, digital audio, outdoor, print and other paid media channels.

- Hands-on familiarity with major advertising platforms such as Meta and Google, ad-serving tools such as Campaign Manager 360, and media management and billing tools such as Guidelines/Lumina or comparable systems.

- Experience working with media agencies, publishers and/or platform partners.

- Strong understanding of campaign measurement, pacing, optimization and performance reporting.

- Strong organizational and project-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands and operate effectively in a high-volume environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google productivity suites, including Excel and PowerPoint.
