## Department Overview
As a Sr. Supply Planner, you will serve as an operational strategist for global supply, inventory optimization, and supplier performance execution across Video (VSA) and Mission Critical (LMR) product lines. In this role, you will lead end-to-end supply planning strategies across internal manufacturing operations and external global suppliers, utilizing advanced planning tools to balance supply and demand, resolve high-risk exceptions, and safeguard customer commit targets. You will act as a critical cross-functional bridge across Demand Planning, S&OP, Strategic Procurement, Operations, and Regional Leadership.
## Job Description

The Sr. Supply Planner will be responsible but not limited to the following:

1. Portfolio & Supplier Management (Video & Mission Critical)

- Strategic Supplier Ownership: Direct supply planning and material flow strategies for primary external suppliers, EMS partners, and ODMs supporting Video Security & Access Control (VSA) and Mission Critical Land Mobile Radio (LMR) business portfolios.
- High-Impact Commodity Oversight: Manage long-lead, critical commodities maintaining active visibility into supplier lead times, capacity constraints, and purchase order compliance.
- Drop-Ship & Back-to-Back Execution: Direct dropship supply execution and Back-to-Back (B2B) fulfillment routes across specialized distribution orgs, driving direct-to-customer efficiency for Video and Mission Critical hardware.

2. Advanced Supply Planning & Execution

- System Optimization: Drive end-to-end supply plan execution within Oracle Cloud Planning and Oracle EBS, performing scenario simulations to evaluate supply-demand tradeoffs.
- Order & Requisition Management: Oversee Planned Orders, Internal Requisitions, and Internal Sales Orders across external suppliers and internal manufacturing sites.
- Digital & AI implementation: Hands-on experience or active engagement with AI tools, automated supply chain dashboards, and automated workflow tools aimed at driving productivity and eliminating manual reporting task
- Daily Exception & NBO Resolution: Direct weekly and daily exception message reviews, targeting Zero NBO (Net Backorders) and maximizing 13-week rolling commit coverage across assigned Video and Mission Critical product lines.

3. Inventory Governance & Safety Stock Strategy

- Safety Stock Optimization: Manage statistical safety stock models in Oracle Cloud across regional hubs and drop-ship sites, applying manual overrides in Oracle EBS to mitigate risk during New Product Introductions (NPI) or demand spikes.
- E&O Mitigation: Monitor inventory health to identify oversupply and excess/obsolete (E&O) material risks, executing rebalancing or mitigation plans in alignment with Inventory Control.

4. Supplier Collaboration & Shortage Management

- Supplier Enablement: Drive supplier alignment through collaboration portals, auditing weekly net requirements, purchase order acknowledgments, and Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).
- Expedite & Shortage Mitigation: Partner with Procurement and Global Buyers to lead daily shortage escalations, enforce supplier commitments, and authorize premium freight to maintain factory build schedules.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Operational Meetings

- Cross-Functional Operations: Lead daily supply readiness and material availability meetings with Factory Scheduling, Operations Leads, Delivery Managers, and Category Management.
- Global S&OP Briefings: Own and present supply outlooks, shortage risks, and commit metrics in global supply-demand alignment forums.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning, Materials Management, or Supply Operations, with direct exposure to complex hardware, electronics, or telecommunications manufacturing,
- Technical Systems: Advanced proficiency in enterprise ERP and planning platforms (Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud, Oracle EBS / ASCP).
- Experience with supplier collaboration portals (E2Open MCM / B2B) and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)

- Certifications: APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred.

Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 USD

Basic Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in one of the following: Supply Chain Planning, Materials Management, or Supply Operations
