CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:  Project Manager

Lane Valente Industries is seeking a motivated and highly organized Project Manager to join our growing Energy Services team .
This position offers the opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of commercial EV charging, electrical, and energy infrastructure projects, including project management, proposal development, permitting, utility coordination, service operations, client management, and billing.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their work and operate independently while also being eager to learn LVI's processes and approach to project execution. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, identifying next steps, solving problems, and driving projects forward without requiring constant supervision.
EV charging, electrical, or energy industry experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with relevant experience in electrical contracting, construction, field service, facilities, energy, or other project-based environments are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple EV charging, electrical, and energy infrastructure projects from initial request through execution, completion, billing, and closeout.

- Manage EV charging installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service projects while supporting additional electrical and energy-related projects as assigned.

- Coordinate project schedules, field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, materials, equipment, and other project deliverables.

- Take ownership of permitting and utility coordination for EV charging, electrical, and energy projects, including permit applications, AHJ communication, plan-review follow-up, utility applications, service requirements, inspections, and energization milestones.

- Develop scopes of work, pricing, and professional customer proposals for EV charging, electrical, service, and other energy-related projects for management review and approval.

- Manage EV charging and electrical service calls by coordinating technicians and vendors, tracking open work orders, managing applicable SLAs, and driving issues toward resolution.

- Develop a working understanding of project electrical requirements, equipment, drawings, specifications, and site conditions to effectively coordinate work and communicate with clients, field personnel, engineers, utilities, and other stakeholders.

- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients and provide clear, professional updates regarding project status, schedules, permitting, utilities, service work, and outstanding items.

- Participate in client meetings and conference calls and develop strong working relationships with customer contacts.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, client portals, work-order systems, schedules, and internal project tracking.

- Identify project risks, delays, scope gaps, and outstanding requirements and proactively work with internal and external stakeholders toward solutions.

- Track completed work and billing milestones, prepare projects and service calls for invoicing, and assist with timely project and financial closeout.

- Identify additional EV charging, electrical, service, and energy project opportunities with existing clients when appropriate.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in project management, construction coordination, electrical contracting, field service operations, account management, or a related environment preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.

- Experience developing customer quotes, scopes of work, estimates, or proposals.

- Experience with permitting, utility coordination, electrical construction, or construction administration is strongly preferred.

- EV charging, electrical, or energy infrastructure experience is preferred but not required.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and follow-through.

- Ability and willingness to learn technical concepts related to EV charging equipment, electrical infrastructure, construction, permitting, utilities, commissioning, and other energy-related projects.

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and an interest in using technology and AI responsibly to improve research, communication, documentation, organization, and day-to-day efficiency.

- Comfortable learning new software, client portals, project-management systems, and technology.

- Ability to work independently while remaining receptive to training, feedback, and established company processes.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-office position with limited travel to project sites as required.
