Job Description

The AI Education Innovation and Implementation Lead advances MUSC's strategic vision for transforming health professions education through the responsible integration of artificial intelligence. Through faculty development, educational innovation, AI-enabled educational technology implementation, and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), the position helps reimagine teaching, learning, assessment, feedback, and academic program operations while preparing future health professionals to thrive in an AI-enabled healthcare environment. Reporting to the Director of AI in Education and Scholarship and housed within the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL), this position serves as MUSC's educational lead for evaluating, piloting, implementing, and scaling AI-enabled educational technologies. The role helps ensure that AI solutions align with learning outcomes, demonstrate educational value, are accessible and user-friendly, integrate effectively with existing systems, and meet the needs of faculty, learners, and academic programs. The position collaborates closely with faculty, academic leaders, Information Solutions, vendors, and institutional partners to support educational innovation, faculty readiness, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), and responsible AI adoption across the institution.
