Responsible to drive risk-based thinking concept through the effective implementation of FMEA, as key QMS tool to help the site achieve its mission of being the Automotive Center of Excellence. Responsible to inspire and drive automotive quality mindset through integrity, vision and courage. Leads the FMEA Steering team to exceed the expectations set by internal quality standards as well as define the risk reduction strategy that better fits Fab6 needs to drive towards Zero Defects goal. Works with both site leadership as well as Global Quality teams to successfully implement changes coming from External Standards touching FMEA as well as new customer requirements in the Front-End Manufacturing organization. Is involved in the process of benchmarking best practices from inside and outside Micron to ensure Fab6 is at the forefront of quality excellence from the prospective of customer and registrar auditing teams. Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Is an active participant in the Fab Safety program by reporting all related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team, Supervision, etc.). Is proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases. Manages Site Level Metrics and Front-End Scorecard FMEA related Metrics. Represents Fab6 in the Global meetings where FMEA expertise is required. Drives Compliance to FMEA Standard and FMEA Business rules. Drives FMEA review process to make it functional to the large number of documents and the technology complexity that Fab6 owns. Understands how FMEA, as QMS (Quality management System) tool, interacts with other Business Processes in Micron and aligns metrics with Control of manufacturing scope. Champion gap analysis against new Standards and CSR (Customer Special Requirements) when FMEA is involved and provide guidance to functional teams affected by change. Drives risk reduction program and adapt it to the site mission as needed. Reports to site leadership regular updates on coming changes and/or site performance progress in Quality Exec meetings. Mentors FMEA software users on best practices and shortcuts to improve efficiency of updates. Understands and enhances interaction with FMEA software tools with external systems using FMEA data. Maintains interface for FMEA Change Management tool and escalate to the appropriate team when bugs in the reporting tools are found. Reviews training content rolled out by Global team for accuracy and applicability. Maintains visibility of FMEA Profiles completion and escalates with site leadership where expectation is not met (VDA 6.3). Teaches software classes when needed.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Science, Math, Physics or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
