What it's about
In this position you will be part of the Private Credit Investment team, based out of New York. Responsibilities will span all aspects of private credit investing, including sourcing, due diligence, execution and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis for the assessment of prospective private credit investments.
- LBO modelling, analysis of due diligence materials, writing internal investment committee memorandums and contributing to investment committee discussions.
- Management of private credit investments including monitoring of company performance.
- Assist senior investment team members in building relationships with sponsors and other external parties, with an excellent opportunity to leverage and expand your professional network.
- Various other tasks such as valuation assessments, product reporting, market research and supporting Partners Group’s fundraising efforts.
What we expect
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in an investment role (private credit / private equity), debt advisory, or investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A).
- Passion for investing in mid-market companies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop close relationships over time.
- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail with demonstrable financial modelling skills.
- Strong academic record with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top University.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the US.

Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $170,000- $195,000 and a performance-based bonus and equity are additional parts of the total compensation package.
