Responsible for supporting Federal Civilian Agency clients in strengthening enterprise risk management, internal controls, audit readiness, compliance, data analysis, and oversight response capabilities. Enables defensible delivery through OMB Circular A-123 support, internal control documentation, data extraction, validation and reconciliation, audit-ready evidence management, corrective action tracking, risk analysis, process documentation, and analytical reporting for program, financial, compliance, and oversight stakeholders.
What You Will Do :
- Support a Federal Civilian Agency client across enterprise risk management, internal controls, audit readiness, compliance, data analysis, and oversight response activities.
- Assist with OMB Circular A-123 internal control documentation, testing readiness, evidence validation, corrective action tracking, and audit response packages.
- Extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze programmatic and financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, risk indicators, and documentation gaps.
- Develop clear analytical summaries, risk reports, issue logs, data reconciliation outputs, and audit-ready work products traceable to source documentation.
- Coordinate with program, financial, compliance, and data stakeholders to support timely delivery of accurate, complete, and defensible client deliverables.
What You Will Need :
- Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust; Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen due to nature of client engagements.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of consulting, audit, risk management, internal controls, compliance, data analysis, or federal delivery experience.
- Experience supporting OMB Circular A-123, internal control documentation, audit readiness, corrective action tracking, or oversight response activities.
- Experience performing data analysis, data validation, reconciliation, reporting, or documentation review using structured and unstructured data sources.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to develop accurate, traceable, and audit-ready work products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize analytical findings for client review.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to work in a Guidehouse Office or Client Office.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
- Experience supporting Federal Civilian Agency clients, including the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
- Experience with grant oversight, financial reporting support, data reconciliation, or corrective action management.
- Familiarity with federal oversight entities, including OIG, GAO, financial statement audit teams, or agency OCFO organizations.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, or other data analysis and reporting tools.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM, CFE, PMP, or related certification.
