About this role
Under the direction of local management and Sales, the Sales Support Coordinator will develop and maintain relationships with existing clients within the technical and manufacturing fields. This position will receive Customer inquiries from Outside Sales or directly from the Customer via phone and email. The successful candidate will be able to work with a sense of urgency, be customer focused and will have the ability boost order profitability by upselling and recognizing opportunities to cross-sell.
Responsibilities
- Assists location by cultivating and maintaining Customer relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, end users and utilities.
- Create and maintain positive relations with vendors, internal business unit leaders and strategic business relationships; utilize contacts to ensure our customers are getting the best value and support.
- Work with internal departments to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Successfully manage job function(s) by continuously demonstrating following:
- Prepare quotes as presented by local management and sales. Send out quotes via email or other approved method.
- Enter orders into database accurately and in a timely manner as per company and location procedures.
- Continuously follow up all quotes/projects/orders daily, weekly, etc. Track Customer follow up.
- Follow up on Customer requests. Answer inquiries or get/direct Customers to best source for quick resolution of request(s).
- Frequent communication with Customer and operations team regarding quotes, orders, and/or work in process.
- Conduct Customer communication in a highly customer service-oriented manner and potentially expand the scope of project work as well as negotiate any extra charges associated with work performed.
- Create reports as assigned.
- Attend/support applicable customer events, trade shows as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Associates degree in related field or experience equivalency and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
- Experience in the electrical industry and business to business sales support experience desired.
- Preferred experience using Microsoft Dynamics (GP)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to communicate with a variety of individuals
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Able to handle multiple projects, able to problem solve.
- Able to follow through on projects, assignments with minimal supervisor.
- Proven Customer Service skills-Customer focused.

Job: Full-Time
Location: Remote
Travel: 0-5%
Compensation: Pay for this role is $25.00-$32.00 per hour and eligible for overtime.
Relocation: Relocation assistance not available.
