Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Digital Marketing & Ecommerce is responsible for developing and driving digital marketing campaigns and strategies that meet and/or exceed business objectives and provide additional insight about our customers across all digital channels.

Job Summary

The Consultant, Digital Marketing & Ecommerce designs and executes digital marketing strategies to help clients maximize the capabilities of Cardinal Health's B2B platforms and other digital marketing channels. The Consultant develops business plans, digital marketing strategies and campaigns that meet and exceed business objectives and provide additional insight into customers. This job collaborates with digital marketing team members to generate creative content and leverage the full capabilities of digital marketing platforms. In addition, this role serves as a subject matter expert for digital experience technologies and is responsible for the execution, optimization, and maintenance of onsite digital experiences across ecommerce and marketing platforms.

Responsibilities

- Works with internal clients such as Product Marketing teams and develops digital marketing and Ecommerce campaigns based on client objectives. Applying significant digital marketing knowledge and experience, establishes campaign goals, tactics, and messaging and serves as a subject matter expert for client teams.
- Presents marketing initiative outcomes to clients and demonstrates the impact of marketing campaigns using metrics related to customer engagement, revenue, and return on investment. Provides insights on customer behavior and campaign effectiveness.
- Partners with creative content professionals to develop and evaluate creative content for marketing campaigns in alignment with established messaging and campaign objectives.
- Collaborates with digital marketing operations professionals to deploy content on B2B Ecommerce platforms and other digital channels.
- Partners with marketing analytics professionals to proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize digital campaign performance, including web traffic, customer engagement, conversion, and other key performance metrics. Summarizes complex data to create actionable insights for clients.
- Independently develops, analyzes, and reports on A/B and multivariate tests to enhance campaign performance and provide customer insights.
- Manages the deployment of marketing content across several digital marketing channels, including Ecommerce platforms, email, social media, web advertising, and onsite digital experiences. Ensures alignment of content and tactics across channels and drives customers to relevant solutions based on business objectives.
- Establishes and cultivates long-term relationships with internal clients, demonstrating ongoing value of digital marketing solutions and communicating new and enhanced capabilities to stakeholders.
- Acts as a mentor to less experienced Digital Marketing colleagues, providing insights from past project experiences and advanced knowledge of campaign tactics, technologies, and performance metrics.
- Builds, publishes, and maintains digital marketing assets including landing pages, promotional banners, targeted messaging, and other content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management platforms.
- Executes audience targeting, segmentation, personalization, and content activation initiatives through Adobe Target and other digital experience tools.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Target, and other relevant digital marketing technologies, providing guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders.
- Manages and triages production requests, ensuring timely completion, adherence to brand standards, and alignment with business priorities.
- Conducts quality assurance reviews to validate content accuracy, functionality, site performance, tracking implementation, and customer experience prior to deployment.
- Optimizes onsite content and digital experiences utilizing search engine optimization (SEO) and user experience (UX) best practices to improve engagement and conversion.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to content display, site functionality, personalization experiences, and platform performance.
- Collaborates with Ecommerce, IT, Analytics, Product Marketing, and external vendor partners to support digital initiatives and achieve desired business results.
- Ensures onsite customer experiences support omnichannel marketing efforts and effectively communicate key marketing messages while aligning with overall business strategy.
- Partners with Analytics and Technology teams to ensure campaign tracking, revenue attribution, and reporting capabilities function as expected across digital platforms.
- Manages projects and workflow through Workfront or similar project management tools, ensuring work is appropriately prioritized, assigned, tracked, and completed according to established timelines.

Qualifications

- 4-8 years of experience, preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, Digital Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Experience working within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management systems.
- Experience with Adobe Target or comparable testing, personalization, and audience segmentation platforms.
- Experience supporting ecommerce websites, digital content publishing, and customer experience initiatives.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with Workfront or other project management and workflow management tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SEO, website optimization, and digital experience best practices preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $82,100 - $105,480
