About this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a condominium/HOA community on Singer Island. Working closely with the property manager and board of directors, you will help maintain common areas, coordinate vendor repairs, assist homeowners, and manage administrative records.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance: Inspect common areas, lobbies, and association grounds regularly to note maintenance or safety items. Log, track, and coordinate resident work orders and follow up with maintenance staff or third-party contractors. Obtain vendor bids, oversee contractor project completion, and verify invoices.

Homeowner & Board Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for resident inquiries, phone calls, and emails with high customer service standards. Assist residents and the property manager with architectural modification applications and community rule compliance. Help prepare meeting agendas, compile board packets, and take or distribute meeting minutes as required.

Administrative & Financial Tracking: Maintain and organize physical and digital files, including insurance certificates, vendor contracts, and owner records. Assist with accounts payable/receivable review, invoice processing, and basic financial tracking. Issue community newsletters, notices, and compliance letters.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus. Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in property management, community association (HOA/Condo) management, or customer service.

Skills & Proficiencies: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with property management software (such as AppFolio, Yardi, or CINC) is strongly preferred. Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities, and maintain a professional demeanor with difficult or demanding situations.

Licenses & Logistics: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to attend occasional evening Board or community association meetings.

Compensation & Terms Pay Range: $22/hr. to start, $25/hr. min. once perm. Note: Please be advised that this position does not currently offer benefits.
