Position Summary
The Financial Analyst, AR Process Excellence, will own reporting and analytics for the AR Process Excellence team. This role is responsible for transforming reporting from manual, Excel-based processes into automated, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that provide timely, actionable insights to business leaders and AR stakeholders.
This position will partner closely with the Data & Analytics team and Regional AR Process Excellence Managers to develop, enhance, and maintain KPI reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools that improve visibility, drive process improvements, and enhance customer experience. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and AR knowledge with analytical thinking, reporting expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the development, enhancement, and ongoing management of Accounts Receivable reporting and analytics for the business
- Design, build, and maintain KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and other performance metrics to monitor AR health, process effectiveness, and customer experience
- Lead the transition of reporting from manual and Excel-based processes to automated, scalable, and easily accessible reporting solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data availability, and insight generation through automation and process standardization
- Partner with the Data & Analytics team to develop sustainable reporting solutions, improve data structure, and expand analytical capabilities
- Collaborate with Regional AR Process Excellence Managers to align reporting with business needs, operational priorities, and process improvement opportunities
- Develop new reporting and analytical views that highlight risks, opportunities, past-due trends, process bottlenecks, and account performance
- Support the creation of executive-ready reporting materials and presentations for leadership review
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs and source files
- Serve as a key point of contact for AR reporting-related ad hoc analysis and special projects
- Continuously evaluate and improve reporting tools, definitions, and processes to better support the business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, or process excellence environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful business insights
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working toward automated reporting solutions
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and data/analytics resources
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, collections, deductions, dispute management, or customer financial operations preferred
