The Job:
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer / Global Capital Engineer, you’ll be part of our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:
· Develop and implement automated manufacturing equipment for new products, including power tools and battery applications, ensuring production readiness, capacity, timing, and performance requirements.
· Develop integrated engineering solutions to resolve manufacturing process issues and execute cost-saving initiatives within established schedules and budgets.
· Improve existing manufacturing processes through automation, Lean Manufacturing, and low-cost automation initiatives.
· Identify and evaluate new manufacturing technologies to improve productivity, quality, safety, and overall process performance.
· Integrate appropriate safety systems and controls into automation equipment and manufacturing solutions.
· Support the standardization of manufacturing processes across global Power Tools and Battery operations.
· Lead and support equipment transfers, refurbishments, upgrades, and installation of new or existing production equipment between global manufacturing locations.
· Participate in new product development activities, including DFMEA, DFM, process design, Poka-Yoke, control systems, and other critical manufacturing processes.
· Evaluate capital equipment and manufacturing investment scenarios using cost analysis, ROI, schedule, capacity, and business requirements.
· Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, communicate project status and scope changes, and ensure automation and equipment projects progress from design through functional production implementation.
The Person:

· A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
· 3+ years of experience developing manufacturing projects; experience with Power Tools assembly and Lithium-Ion Battery Pack manufacturing is preferred.
· Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global engineering environment.
· Strong knowledge of project management, manufacturing cost analysis, ROI analysis, Lean Manufacturing, automation, continuous improvement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting schedule and cost commitments.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of SAP, Windchill, ESD, Battery, and Power Tools manufacturing is preferred.
