We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Supervisor to provide technical and quality support for all manufactured products, by ensuring that products are built in compliance with required instructions, BOMs and customer expectations. Manages a team of Quality Assurance Technicians to achieve organizational goals by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing guidance, and acting as a communication link between employees and management.

Duties / Responsibilities:

- Works with the Quality Manager to develop, formulate and direct quality control programs involving advanced inspection methods, devices and control techniques.

- Supervises and directs the activities of qualified In-Process Inspectors charged with maintaining quality standards through internal and external inspection services of raw materials, purchased finished goods, production operations/ processes, and shipping.

- Collaborates with other supervisors to coordinate activities, resolve problems and improve performance/productivity.

- Generates nonconforming material reports. Leads nonconforming material disposition efforts internally and with suppliers.

- Assists with the development of continuing education programs for QA staff to remain current on procedures, methods, use of equipment and other techniques; conducts training sessions, mentors the QA team and supports onboarding of new personnel.

- Administers work rules, regulations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.

- Other duties as may be assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously

- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

- Team leadership skills

- Adept with decision-making and problem-solving

- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

- Skilled at reading mechanical drawings

- Thorough knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate skill with spreadsheets and databases

- Practiced in the use of calibration equipment, gas/oil vacuums, testing stations, lift equipment, electrical equipment and hand tools

- Able to handle working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism

- Experience with an ERP system.

Education and Experience:

- 5 years' experience in a manufacturing QA environment preferred; less experience with QA certification will also be considered

- High School diploma or GED required

- Bilingual Spanish required

Supervisor / Manager Responsibilities:

Manage a team of 9-20 individuals: In-Process Quality, Shipping, MRB, and Receiving Inspectors
