Job Purpose
- We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will manage and drive the resolution of customer complaints while interfacing directly with customers to implement their requirements onto the plant floor. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer complaints from intake through closure, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Interface directly with customers to understand and implement their quality requirements on the plant floor.
- Help develop and maintain processes for tracking and analyzing customer feedback and quality issues.
- Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and complete Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) as required by customers.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including reports and process maps.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and quality metrics.
- Support training on quality standards and processes for team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5+ years equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace environment
- 3+ years of experience in a quality job role
- 2+ years of experience in a customer complaint analysis or investigative role
- 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action
- Experience in an aerospace, medical device, or manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a Supplier Quality organization
- Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
- Experience with regulatory requirements
- Experience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventory
- Preferred auditing accreditation to ASD9100 or ISO13485.

In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match.
The annual base salary range for this position is $75,412-$103,692.
