Position Summary

The National Learning Manager translates business and associate capability needs into practical, scalable learning solutions. Working with national and division partners, this role diagnoses performance needs, designs and delivers learning, manages implementation, and uses feedback and performance information to improve results. The manager owns assigned initiatives from consultation through rollout and evaluation.

Main responsibilities:

- Consult with business, HR, national and division partners to identify performance gaps, define learning objectives and recommend appropriate solutions.

- Design and develop learner-centered instructor-led, virtual, eLearning and blended experiences, as well as job aids and other performance-support resources.

- Facilitate learning sessions virtually or in person when needed.

- Manage assigned learning projects, including timelines, deliverables, stakeholder alignment and launch readiness.

- Partner with field and division teams on communications and rollout plans that support adoption.

- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, instructional designers, technology partners and vendors as appropriate.

- Evaluate learner feedback, participation and available performance data; refine solutions based on findings.

- Apply enterprise learning standards, instructional design, and adult-learning principles while adapting solutions to operational needs.

- Identify and apply accurate and appropriate audience rulesets based on stakeholder knowledge, collaboration, and engagement.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

- Five or more years of experience in learning and development, instructional design or a related field.

- Experience consulting with business partners, creating learning across multiple modalities and supporting program rollouts.

- Ability to manage concurrent initiatives and build effective cross-functional relationships.

- Strong instructional-design, facilitation, communication and program-management skills.

- Retail, grocery or large-enterprise experience; familiarity with learning platforms and authoring tools; and experience measuring learning impact are preferred.

- Ability to navigate ambiguous environments to successfully deliver results.

- Experience working with technology and engineering partners or organizations preferred.

- Experience in a large, multi-location organization is preferred.
