Job Title: Civil Project Manager Job Description
This is a full travel position, requiring frequent travel to different project sites primarily in Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas. The role involves managing all phases of civil construction projects, from the award through to closeout, ensuring that they are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of projects from award through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor job costs, productivity, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate with field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Manage contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Support project planning, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide project updates.
Essential Skills
- 10+ years of civil construction experience.
- Experience in heavy civil, earthwork, and site development project management.
- Proficiency in project scheduling and planning.
- Expertise in job cost tracking and budget management.
- Strong skills in contract and change order management.
- Experience in estimating and preconstruction.
- Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
- Client relationship management.
- Construction documentation and reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Federal experience is a bonus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prehire drug test and MVR clearance required.
- Capability to work on federal facilities.
Work Environment
This position requires full travel and working on-site, with a schedule of six days on, working 11 hours, followed by a week break. The schedule may alter with holidays. Work begins at 6 am during summer, with the option to work through lunch to finish earlier. A company truck is provided for travel, with $25 per hour paid while driving to a project. Per diem is $100 a day. Teams perform mass excavation, grading, underground utilities, drilling and blasting, crushing, and site development. The main office is located in Bloomsdale, Missouri, close to St. Louis.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomsdale, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $86.54/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
