We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join Lumino Botany on a part-time, fixed-term basis.

Job Description
This role will be primarily based at L umino Botany, with one day per week supporting our team at Lumino Ormiston, providing variety and the opportunity to work across two well-established East Auckland practices.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients receive outstanding care throughout their visit.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clinicians during a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing and cleaning treatment rooms
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
- Providing exceptional patient care and support throughout appointments
- Managing instruments, materials, and clinical stock
- Completing clinical administration and maintaining accurate patient records
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
Hours for this role:
- Tuesday 08:30am - 6:15pm (Botany)
- Wednesday's 08:30am - 5:15pm (Botany)
- Thursdays 08:30 - 5:00pm (Ormiston)
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or within a healthcare environment is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, patient-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Confident using computer systems and technology
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
- Valid New Zealand work rights
- Full New Zealand driver's licence and reliable transport required
