Position Summary
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and support to research nurses and coordinators.
- Maintaining an active clinical trial portfolio, including complex therapeutic studies.
- Ensuring timely completion of study activities, data queries, monitoring follow-up, and protocol requirements.
- Leading team meetings and promoting accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
- Developing staff training related to consenting, auditing, protocol deviations, regulatory compliance, and research systems.
- Driving effective use of research tools such as OnCore and supporting quality and audit readiness initiatives.
- Participating in protocol feasibility assessments and protocol review activities.
- Collaborating with investigators, support departments, and regional sites to ensure consistent protocol execution and high-quality patient care across the research program
Minimum Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or temporary North Carolina licensure or meet requirements to hold RN licensure in a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting or related required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
