Job Summary/Responsibilities

Reporting to the Front Desk Team, the Bell & Door Attendant role is responsible for creating the first impression of the hotel for its guests. This position requires friendly, outgoing, and informed staff to ensure the guests receive exemplary service from the moment they touch the property to the moment they depart. Some of the key duties and responsibilities include:

- Greet and escort guests to rooms.

- Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property.

- Operate the company vehicle to provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation for guests to and from various locations.

- Coordinate with the Guest Services team to efficiently manage transportation requests and schedules.

- Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.

- Transport guest luggage to and from valet, guest rooms, and/or designated bell area.

- Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.

- Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.

- Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.

- Follow all company policies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

- High school or equivalent education preferred.

Experience

- Previous hotel experience preferred.

- Ability to embody and impart the hotel's unique culture to guests and associates.

- Ability to maintain a friendly and engaging disposition.

- Ability to work flexible hours required.

Knowledge/Skills

- Strong attention to details.

- Excellent Guest Service skills.

- Friendly demeanor and robust communication skills.
