General Description: The Human Resource Manager is responsible for all aspects of human resources within the Agency. Ensures the Agency’s mission and goals are put into practice through the HR Functions.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and administer full cycle hiring program for the Agency.
- Responsible for overall implementation of policies and procedures. Keep apprised of agency needs and submit long term plans and ideas in order to meet those needs.
- Provide quality benefits package to staff through shopping various carriers and ensure timely enrollments for new staff and annually at open enrollment.
- Oversees annual performance reviews for Agency
- Collaborate with directors and coordinators to conduct workplace investigations, making recommendations on corrective action when needed.
- Ensure federal and state compliance related to all human resource practices.
- Monitor employee job satisfaction through surveys and other methods.
- Conduct wage and salary surveys and recommend updates to salary structure as needed to stay competitive.
- Monitor workers’ compensation and unemployment claims.
- Develop, review, and update job descriptions for positions in the agency.
- Assist directors, coordinators and employees in the solution of problems and documentation of actions taken in regard to human resource issues.
- Work with Managers and directors to ensure consistency with policies and procedures, applying Supervision for Success and disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Ensures all personnel and medical files are current and complete.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred. Previous work experience in Human Resources with demonstrated increasing responsibility. PHR or SHRM-CP Certification.
