Family First Home Companions is hiring dependable and compassionate caregivers throughout Nassau County!
Whether you're looking for a few hours a week, a full-time schedule, daytime hours, evening work, or overnight shifts , we have opportunities to match your availability and experience.
If you have professional home-care experience , we'd love to hear from you. HHA/PCA/CNA certification is welcome but not required for caregiver positions where certification is not required.
What You'll Do
Depending on the client's needs, you may:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
- Assist with personal care and mobility
- Accompany clients to appointments and activities
- Provide supervision and a safe, comfortable environment
- Help clients remain independent in their own homes
✅ What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience in the U.S.
- Home-care experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and responsible
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assignment
- HHA/PCA/CNA certification is a plus, but not required for applicable caregiver assignments
