Job Description

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Self-Evaluation & Program Governance Analyst is responsible for developing an annual, cohesive, self-evaluation document by integrating data, analysis, and stakeholder input across the organization. This role combines data analysis, narrative development, and cross functional coordination to ensure the final product is accurate, consistent, well supported, and aligned with regulatory expectations. The annual CRA self-evaluation is the primary deliverable for this role, with additional responsibility for facilitating timely, coordinated responses and collaboration among business partners in support of related governance, audit, and regulatory examination activities.

Key Responsibilities

CRA Self-Evaluation

Data & Information Integration

- Gather and consolidate performance data, contextual information, and supporting documentation from cross functional partners; confirm source ownership, applicable reporting periods, and maintain appropriate source documentation and version control to support traceability.

Data Analysis, Interpretation & Narrative Development

- Analyze and interpret performance context, metrics, data tables, automated outputs, and peer or other comparative analyses to identify trends, gaps, inconsistencies, and meaningful insights that support the CRA self-evaluation.
- Draft, review, and / or refine clear, concise, and regulatory ready ratings support, summary narratives, performance explanations, and related regulatory examination materials.
- Create and maintain reusable narrative frameworks and standardized language, tone, structure, and terminology to support efficient, consistent, and scalable reporting.

CRA Self-Evaluation Assembly & Quality Assurance

- Compile and manage the full self-evaluation document, including tables and appendices.
- Perform quality assurance across self-evaluation data, narrative, and examination related deliverables to confirm that quantitative results are accurate, clearly explained, aligned with narrative conclusions, and consistent with other materials provided to the regulatory agency.
- Coordinate with data partners and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies and finalize content.

CRA Program Governance

- Coordinate with the CRA Program Office and business partners to support governance routines, audit requests, regulatory examination responses, and related procedure and documentation needs.
- Track deliverables and open items, coordinate inputs and reviews, and assess supporting materials for accuracy, completeness, and timely completion.
- Assist with other CRA Program reporting needs and issue management administration in Archer, including maintaining records and supporting issue tracking and follow-up as needed.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically more than eight years of applicable experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong analytical and judgment skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and tables, challenge assumptions, identify emerging risks, and escalate material issues.

- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured materials for compliance, governance, audit, or regulatory audiences.

- Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines for an annual enterprise wide deliverable in a collaborative environment.
- Experience in the Community Reinvestment Act, fair lending, compliance program management, compliance risk management, or related regulatory compliance functions, including support for regulatory examinations and internal audit requests.
- Experience supporting governance routines and developing, maintaining, or reviewing compliance and regulatory documentation.

- Familiarity with CRA rating methodologies and performance context development.

- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Archer, and data driven reporting or visualization tools, including experience working with templates and automated outputs.

Location Expectations: This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
