About this role

Position Overview:  This position will work with the Base Camp Director and Base Camp Men's Director to successfully execute T Bar M's Base Camp, leading a group of summer college-aged staff in the facilitation of our overnight grade school camp.

Key Duties

- Summer shared Director responsibilities

Train, lead, and evaluate summer staff

- Problem solve and interface with summer staff

- Assist in the development and investment of the Leadership Team

- Year-round investment with summer staff

- Actively participate in staff follow up communications (email, social media, campus visits, etc.)

- Problem solve/interface with campers daily during camp

- Actively participate in parent follow up communications (email, phone, etc.)

- Summer individual responsibilities

Lead a girls leadership covenant

- Teach staff bible study and/or Team Meeting

- Oversee Summer Opening Day Paperwork and Reports (Cabin Assignments, Medical, etc.)

- Oversee LOC (Leaders of Camp) trip

- Oversee weekly schedules (Cabin/Activity/Staff)

- Year-round individual responsibilities

Recruiting

Participate in recruiting trips, interviews, hiring, and evaluations

- Participate in the hiring of the Base Camp women coaching staff and leadership team

- Assist other Women's Directors in vetting female applicants

- Lead in hiring girl Work Crew positions

- Promote to staff via text, social media

- Programming

Lead in creating, planning, and writing Trail Guide curriculum  in conjunction with Base Camp Director and Base Camp Men's Director

- Lead in ordering summer staff uniforms

- Assist in creating new and/or modifying existing summer activities

- Camper Postcards: manage staff addresses, completion list and remailings

- Maintain an active role in additional T Bar M Camps activities (including but not limited to):

Assist and/or support sponsored retreats (Mother/Daughter, Leadership Retreats, etc.)

- Participate in all T Bar M Camp Director planning and training sessions

- Spiritual Growth and Alignment

Consistent evidence of a growing, daily relationship with Christ

- Awareness and desire to deploy his/her spiritual gift(s) in this ministry

- Agreement with and ability to work in alignment with T Bar Ms Belief Statement

- Sense of calling to T Bar M

- Whole-hearted support of T Bar Ms Vision, Core Values, and Mission

- Proven Experience

Leading and discipling college age girls

- Working/interacting with elementary age kids and their parents

- Administrative tasks including planning, scheduling, ordering, and organizing

- Public Speaking

- Writing curriculum

- Good fit for T Bar M Camps & Retreats Culture

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs; experience with CircuiTree and/or Paycom software a plus

- Adherence to budget restraints and ability to make decisions factoring in quality and cost

- Education/Proven Experience

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience

- Two years of work experience beyond college preferred

Compensation : The starting annual salary for this position is $44,000 and includes T Bar M's competitive insurance and benefits package.
