Job Description

A senior data engineer designs, builds, and scales an organization's core data infrastructure, transforming raw information into clean, reliable assets for analytics and AI

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Architecture: Build and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) or ELT workflows to move data safely from source systems to cloud storage.

Data Modeling: Design high-performance analytical schemas using modern cloud data stacks (such as data lakes, warehouses, or lakehouses)

Data Quality & Governance: Implement automated testing, lineage tracking, and security controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Performance & Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud computing resources to make queries faster and reduce operational expenses.

Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, review code, and translate complex business needs into technical solutions

Core Requirements & Skills

Programming: Advanced SQL and production-grade Python or Scala.

Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and modern tools like Databricks.

Orchestration & Tools: Proficiency with workflow managers like Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory, and transformation tools like dbt.

Experience: Relevant data engineering background
