Quality Control Analyst (m/f/d)

Location: Strasbourg, France

This role is based on site. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do

- Perform microbiological testing and environmental monitoring activities to ensure product quality and compliance within manufacturing and laboratory environments.
- Manage and review analytical results within quality systems, supporting timely product release and effective quality decision-making.
- Conduct trending analyses of microbiological and environmental data, identifying deviations, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in investigations of non-conformances, root cause analyses, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Qualify, verify, and maintain laboratory instruments, reagents, and analytical systems to ensure reliable and compliant laboratory operations.
- Draft, revise, and implement laboratory procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation in accordance with GMP and GLP requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance laboratory performance and regulatory compliance.

What we are looking for

- Experience in microbiological quality control, environmental monitoring, or laboratory testing within a regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environment.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques and environmental monitoring programs.
- Good understanding of quality systems (QA/QC), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), hygiene standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Experience participating in investigations, deviation management, and root cause analysis activities.
- Ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Education in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, team spirit, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced regulated environment.
