OVERVIEW
The Digital & Technology team at General Mills India Center is looking for a curious, enthusiastic, and learning-oriented Associate D&T Analyst to join the AI & Automation team.
This is an entry-level, functional / techno-functional role suited to recent graduates. The individual will work under the guidance of experienced team members to evaluate AI tools, support stakeholders in understanding and adopting AI capabilities, coordinate enablement activities, and maintain clear communication and documentation.
The role requires an interest in technology and the ability to understand AI capabilities, limitations, and business applications. Its primary focus is evaluation, coordination, communication, and adoption rather than hands-on coding or technical implementation. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, D&T teams, and relevant experts to help AI initiatives follow established organizational standards and governance processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
AI Tool Evaluation and AI Governance
- Partner to evaluate AI tools, platforms, and new capabilities in Agentic AI for new features, identify and highlight risk and recommendation.
- Support practical tool trials and user testing; document capabilities, usability, limitations, findings, and questions for further review.
- Partner to assess established AI governance standards, identify any gaps and support to mature the governance process as agentic ai ecosystem evolves. Also support the AI Taskforce governance readiness and communication for decisions.
Agentic AI solution for business
- Understand the requirement on the agentic solutions and support development on no and low code platforms
- Track usage, adoption, user feedback, and agreed success measures; summarize observations and opportunities for improvement.
AI Research, Enablement, and Event Coordination
- Stay informed about recent developments in AI, including new tools, capabilities, and practical business applications; share concise, relevant summaries with the team.
- Support workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions that help stakeholders understand AI capabilities and their practical applications.
- Assist with event planning and execution, including schedules, participant communications, registrations, speaker coordination, logistics, and follow-up activities.
- Help maintain reusable learning resources, evaluation summaries, and enablement materials.
Team Collaboration and Delivery Support
- Collaborate with business partners, AI & Automation team, and technical specialists, seeking guidance where deeper expertise is required.
- Build an understanding of General Mills business processes and D&T ways of working, and apply feedback to improve work quality
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field with analytical or quantitative training.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior full-time professional experience is not required.
- Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, technology, or digital transformation through coursework, projects, independent learning, internships, or extracurricular activities.
Communication and Coordination
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly to different audiences.
- Ability to listen, ask relevant questions, understand stakeholder needs, and communicate progress and next steps.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through on tasks and commitments.
- Ability to work collaboratively, coordinate activities, and seek support when needed.
AI and Analytical Foundations
- Basic understanding of AI, generative AI, AI agents, and automation concepts, including common business applications and limitations.
- Ability to compare tools, organize information, draw reasoned conclusions, and document findings clearly.
- Awareness of responsible AI considerations such as data privacy, security, accuracy, and appropriate human oversight, with willingness to learn organizational standards.
- Comfort using spreadsheets and presentation tools to prepare summaries, trackers, and reports.
- Curiosity, learning agility, and a willingness to keep up with developments in AI.
- Coding proficiency and prior experience developing or deploying AI solutions are not prerequisites for this role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Practical exposure to generative AI tools, prompt design, AI assistants, or no-code / low-code automation platforms.
- Participation in AI-related projects, hackathons, technology clubs, or learning initiatives.
- Experience coordinating college events, workshops, conferences, or similar activities.
- Exposure to stakeholder-facing work through internships, student organizations, volunteering, or team projects.
- Familiarity with basic reporting or visualization tools and work-management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Awareness of cloud and enterprise AI platforms; deep platform or engineering expertise is not expected
