Job Description

The Senior Officer will play a key role in supporting the operational efficiency and compliance frameworks within United Overseas Bank Ltd. This position involves executing daily tasks, assisting with process improvements, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

* Execute and monitor daily operational activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
* Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Conduct thorough reviews of documents and transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and analyze reports for management, highlighting key trends, issues, and recommendations.
* Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Collaborate with various departments to resolve operational issues and improve cross-functional workflows.
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in existing processes and propose mitigation strategies.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in an operations or compliance-related role.
* Strong understanding of banking products, services, and operational processes.
* Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
