About our group:

Occupational Health is part of Environmental Health and Safety. The team provides employee health, workplace readiness, emergency response, compliance, and well-being services through licensed medical professionals and approved service providers.

About the role - you will:

1. Compliance and Management System Support
• Support CSOP and Work Instruction self-assessments, legal-review activities, RBA and ISO 45001 programs, and BCMS activities using approved requirements and guidance.
• Assist with compliance reviews, audit preparation, evidence collection, action tracking, and closure follow-up; promptly escalate gaps, overdue actions, or unclear requirements.
• Apply applicable OH standards, local requirements, and Seagate procedures within assigned work; the OH Manager or designated owner retains final compliance accountability.

2. Core Occupational Health Services
• Support medical emergency response in accordance with the site Medical Emergency Response Program (MERP).
• Follow up assigned injury and illness cases, including documentation, reporting support, return-to-work coordination, and escalation to the OH Manager, designated physician, or investigation owner.
• Support Workers’ Compensation administration, PWR musculoskeletal-disorder case follow-up, and occupational dermatitis activities using approved workflows.
• Support health screening, medical surveillance, fitness-for-work, return-to-work, and safe job-placement processes; final medical determinations remain with authorized medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in Cority or other approved systems while protecting confidentiality and data privacy.

3. OH Program Coordination
• Assist the OH Manager in coordinating assigned OH programs, schedules, communications, documentation, status updates, and follow-up actions.
• Support MERP, health education and wellness promotion, infection prevention and control, communicable-disease activities, medical surveillance, and other assigned OH initiatives.
• Coordinate routine medical-surveillance arrangements and follow-up actions with OH leadership, service providers, employees, and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare routine program and clinic data for local, regional, or global reviews; refer interpretation, trends, and recommendations to senior OH staff.

4. Clinic Operations and Collaboration
• Maintain clinic readiness through assigned checks of medicines, supplies, emergency equipment, forms, and expiry dates; report shortages or defects.
• Work effectively with the OH Manager, clinic team, EHS, HR, supervisors, service providers, employees, and regional or global OH colleagues.
• Read and apply relevant English-language OH procedures, standards, emails, and training materials, and participate in routine regional or global collaboration.
• Complete assigned training, drills, meetings, and improvement actions within agreed timelines.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
• Valid registered nurse license and authorization to practice in China, as applicable.
• Typically 1 to 2 years of clinical nursing experience; emergency, surgical, outpatient, or workplace-health experience is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of emergency response, case documentation, infection prevention, medical surveillance, confidentiality, and data privacy.
• Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn Cority and other approved health-information systems.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency and sufficient spoken and written English to understand global OH documents, emails, standards, and training materials, and to participate in routine cross-site collaboration.
• Occupational Health training or certification is preferred, subject to local requirements.

• Accurate, timely, and confidential clinical and program documentation.
• Reliable support to the OH Manager in program coordination, compliance activities, and action tracking.
• Appropriate referral and escalation of complex, urgent, high-risk, or non-compliant matters.
• Effective completion of assigned screening, surveillance, case follow-up, clinic-readiness, and audit-support activities.
• Demonstrated ability to understand relevant English-language OH documents and contribute to routine global collaboration.

Located in the high technology district, our site in Wuxi is a global manufacturing hub delivering technical services, customer testing, manufacturing, and support capabilities.
