Lead Salesforce Administrator
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Lead Salesforce Administrator within our Alpha division This position falls under our Cross Border line of business and is located in London, UK.
We are looking for a hands-on Lead Salesforce Administrator to take technical and functional ownership of our Salesforce CRM platform. As the go-to Salesforce expert, you’ll combine day-to-day administration with solution design, governance and strategic platform development. Working with stakeholders across the business, you’ll translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, set platform standards and help shape the roadmap. You’ll coordinate and prioritise Salesforce work across the team, providing technical guidance and quality oversight without formal people-management responsibility. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex problems and balancing BAU support with longer-term platform improvement.
You will report directly to the Head of Engineering and collaborate with various teams and senior stakeholders across Alpha.

Role Responsibilities
Your responsibilities of the role will include:
- Owning the technical and functional stewardship of Salesforce CRM, ensuring it remains secure, reliable, scalable and aligned to business needs.
- Leading solution design, translating complex requirements and business processes into pragmatic, maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Shape and prioritise the Salesforce roadmap and backlog, assigning work across the team and providing technical direction and review through delivery.
- Design, build and review Salesforce Flow and declarative configuration, setting standards for maintainability, performance and user experience.
- Sett platform governance and configuration standards, maintain clear documentation and proactively reduce unnecessary complexity and technical debt.
- Owning Salesforce security and access administration, including roles, permission sets, sharing and regular reviews using least-privilege principles.
- Maintaining strong data quality and governance across the data model, imports and exports, cleansing, deduplication, validation and integrity controls.
- Leading changes through sandboxes, testing, UAT and deployment, ensuring releases are controlled, documented and delivered with appropriate risk management.
- Oversee integrations, connected apps and AppExchange products, working with developers, technical teams and third parties on design and troubleshooting.
- Act as an escalation point for complex Salesforce issues, driving root-cause analysis and improvements to platform performance and resilience.
- Drive adoption of Salesforce best practices through user guidance, training, documentation, reports and dashboards as business needs evolve.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven hands-on experience administering and enhancing Salesforce CRM, with demonstrable ownership of a complex Salesforce environment across BAU support and platform change.
- Experience operating as a senior or lead Salesforce practitioner, providing technical and functional direction, coordinating work and reviewing solutions without formal line-management responsibility.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce administration and configuration, including the data model, security and access, objects, record types, validation, automation, reports and dashboards.
- Strong Salesforce Flow and declarative automation expertise, with the ability to design scalable solutions, set good practice and troubleshoot complex existing processes.
- Strong solution-design and stakeholder-management skills, with experience translating cross-functional business requirements into pragmatic, maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Good understanding of integrations, APIs, connected apps and AppExchange packages, with the ability to work effectively with developers and vendors on technical design and troubleshooting.
- Strong data-management and release-management experience, including imports and exports, data-quality controls, sandboxes, testing, UAT and controlled deployment of Salesforce changes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, influence technical and non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in an Agile environment.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator is preferred, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder or other relevant certifications are advantageous. Familiarity with SOQL, Apex and Lightning components is beneficial but not essential.
