### About the role
As an SEO Executive, you will support the SEO Lead in driving organic growth, traffic and revenue across Tesco's digital channels. Working across key areas of the business, including Groceries, Marketplace, F&F, Whoosh, Local Stores, Careers and Recipes, you will help deliver SEO strategies that improve search visibility, enhance the customer experience and contribute to commercial performance. You will collaborate with a range of stakeholders to identify opportunities, implement best practices and support the delivery of SEO initiatives that drive sustainable growth.

You will be responsible for

- Delivering day-to-day SEO activity across Tesco's digital channels to improve organic visibility, customer discovery and commercial performance.
- Using SEO data, customer insights and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities across key Tesco business areas.
- Conducting keyword research, search intent analysis and content optimisation to enhance organic performance.
- Supporting technical SEO initiatives, including site crawlability, indexation, structured data, internal linking and page performance.
- Analysing SEO performance and translating insights into clear recommendations and prioritised actions.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while promoting SEO best practice across the business.
- Creating SEO briefs and requirements to ensure content and technical improvements are delivered effectively.
- Monitoring search trends, SERP developments and emerging AI search opportunities to identify risks and growth areas.
- Supporting ecommerce and local SEO initiatives to improve product, category and store visibility.
- Producing regular SEO reporting and stakeholder updates to communicate performance, opportunities and impact.
- Working closely with the SEO Lead to deliver SEO strategy and key business initiatives.
- Contributing to a positive team culture while continuing to develop your SEO knowledge and professional skills.

You will need

- 4+ years' SEO experience, ideally within ecommerce, retail, agency or other large-scale environments.
- Strong knowledge of technical, ecommerce and local SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic performance.
- Experience using SEO and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO Clarity, Google Merchant Center and Bing Webmaster Tools.
- The ability to analyse data, identify opportunities and communicate recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally with developers, product, UX, content and commercial teams to deliver SEO improvements.
- Strong reporting, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Workfront, Miro, Zendesk and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AI search and local SEO platforms would be advantageous.
