Intermediate Azure DevOps Engineer

At the core of the role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Intermediate Azure DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and managing our cloud environments. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure our microservices architecture is scalable, secure, and highly available. Core skills you’ll bring

- Azure Cloud Platform: Solid experience managing Azure infrastructure, including Networking, Storage, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Functions, App Services, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Infrastructure as Code: Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, specifically working with and maintaining Terraform modules.
- Microservices Ecosystem: Deep understanding of containerization and GitOps tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
CI/CD
- Pipelines: Proven ability to understand, build, and deploy pipelines for major programming languages, with a strong preference for Azure DevOps (AzDO) YAML pipelines.
- General IT & Linux: Strong foundational knowledge of Linux basics, Bash scripting, and monitoring/alerting tools.
- Problem Solving: A natural troubleshooting mindset with the ability to diagnose and solve complex infrastructure and deployment problems.

Nice-to-have

- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
- Familiarity with Cloud AI services and integration.
- Configuration management experience using Ansible.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices (integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines).
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
- Understanding of basic software testing practices and how they integrate into deployment pipelines.
