About this role
The Senior Program Manager is accountable for delivery of business critical, strategic and complex multi-site, Research, Industrial and NPI Programs and Portfolios with major business impact.
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for building the program blueprint, including planning the required work, resource FTE required and associated costs, making sure that it is done to the correct standards, including scenario creation to support business decision making. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will manage all changes, problems, and risks to achieve defined portfolio results according to the desired product group growth plans.
What you will do:
- You will be responsible for the PG pipeline, including strategic planning, priorities of opportunities, resource scenario planning and driving opportunity start on time
- You will capture competencies and resources needed to deliver pipeline
- You will be responsible for strategic planning, competitive timelines, budget, efficient execution, changes and risks, challenges, decisions on process, procedures, method and technology to be used in the pipeline
- You will define the overall Product Group program and project roadmap in consultation / agreement with all relevant management levels and stakeholders within up to EMT+1 level
- You will initiate complex multi-site Programs, develop blueprint plans, resource plans, budgets, and Business Cases for the Product Group
- You will drive programs to completion within agreed timeframe, budget as well as with required quality demands
- You will be responsible for the relevant quality standards for all programs and projects are defined and met, and to monitor execution of all initiatives
- You will manage all requested Program and Pipeline changes and ensure effective change management for roll-out to projects.
- You will be responsible for program and portfolio risk identification and management, timeline and cost forecasts of all projects, programs within the product group portfolio
- You will analyze opportunity risks (w. r. t. specifications, costs, timing, etc.) and develop and incorporate scenarios to overcome these risks
- You will prioritize the resources across the Product Group Programs and Projects as necessary
- You will ensures good planning principles and risk management are included in plans & budgets, CAPEX.
What you will bring:
- Degree/Master + 8 years’ project and program management experience in semiconductors, pharmaceutical or related field
- Strong track record in E2E Project and Program Management
- Extensive knowledge in state-of-the-art project management tools and their application
- Expert in scope management, risk management, change management and stakeholder management
- Expert in cross domain alignment management and 3rd party management
- Expert in scheduling, budgeting, definition, execution of programs and projects
- Knowledge of semiconductor processes and packages is a clear benefit
- Strong Leadership skills in building and leading programs and projects in a global, intercultural environment
- Strong capability to manage high degree of uncertainty and frequent changes even under time pressure
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills incl. stakeholder management up to EMT level
- Fluent English and German skills
- Strong goal orientation - Delivering on commitment – always demonstrating full accountability for committed deliverables
