Your role
As MAP & GAP Manager, you will help shape reliable market access, pricing and reimbursement outcomes across Belgium and Luxembourg. You will coordinate accurate, timely reimbursement and pricing submissions, ensuring that documentation, approvals and authority interactions are handled with care. You will monitor legislative and competitor developments and translate relevant changes into clear implications for the business. You will also own the end-to-end tender pipeline, from early opportunity identification and milestone planning through governance, submission and post-tender review. Working closely with Business Units, Finance, Supply Network Organization, Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Quality, Compliance and regional teams, you will turn complex inputs into decision-ready actions. You will prepare tender business cases with a clear view of pricing, profitability, supply, contractual and risk considerations. You will maintain transparent records, audit trails and trackers so that every critical decision and commitment can be followed through. In addition, you will support governmental affairs and policy activities through focused analysis, stakeholder intelligence and well-prepared engagement. Your structured, proactive approach will help protect patient access, compliance and business quality while continuously improving local processes.
Who you are
- You have at least 3-5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment, market access, pricing, reimbursement, tender management or a closely related function.
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in life sciences, economics, health economics, business, pharmacy or a related discipline.
- You have experience with pricing and reimbursement submissions and with implementing administrative or cross-functional processes.
- You bring working knowledge of the Belgian and Luxembourg pricing, reimbursement and tender environments, or the ability to build this knowledge quickly and accurately.
- You are professionally fluent in English, Dutch & French are nice to haves
- You understand the financial and profitability parameters relevant to tender and market access decisions.
- You work confidently with Microsoft Word, Excel, structured databases and tracking systems, and can create concise status updates, timelines and decision-ready summaries.
- You are accurate, accountable and process-minded, with strong planning, prioritisation, communication and follow-through, sound ethical judgement and a commitment to compliance, confidentiality and quality.
