About this role

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree Required. Degree in Quality Systems, Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications

- ASQC (American Society for Quality Control) certification is preferred for this position.
- Minimum 1 year of quality/engineering/quality control experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in the aerospace industry, including experience with AS13100.
- Experience and working knowledge of ISO/AS and Nadcap special process requirements.
- Working knowledge of PFMEA
- Audit experience.

Skills and Abilities

- Familiar with ISO/AS requirements and overall OEM (ie., Pratt, GE Aviation, Rolls Royce) quality systems specifications.
- Training and/or education in SPC, blueprint reading, computer systems including word-processing, spreadsheets, and technical applications such as but not limited to: Excel, Word, RFMS, email systems.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and auditors.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to multitask across numerous activities while maintaining clear direction on what is needed to resolve issues across the operation or with external stakeholders.
