This position is temporary until 29.02.2028 .

Your main tasks and responsibilities

- Development and optimization of production processes for the manufacture of blood plasma proteins for medical applications

- Establishment and application of analytical test methods for process and product characterization

- Close collaboration with external partners (e.g., CROs, universities) and internal interfaces (Production, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs)

- Planning, execution, evaluation, and GMP-compliant documentation of laboratory experiments

- Support for scientific inquiries and regulatory and customer-related questions

- Preparation of technical and scientific documents (instructions, study reports, publications) and presentation of results

- Technical guidance and supervision of laboratory technicians

Your expertise and ideal skill set

- Completed degree in natural science, such as chemistry, pharmacy, or biochemistry (Master or PhD)

- Knowledge in protein purification and the development of analytical methods

- Familiarity with (radioactive) labelling of proteins is an advantage

- Professional experience in the blood plasma or diagnostic industry is a plus

- Strong communication and project management skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability

- High level of commitment, perseverance and a structured way of working

- Confident use of Microsoft 365 and ideally electronic laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS)

- Fluent in German and highly proficient in English, both spoken and written

- As part of R&D Plasma, you will contribute to preclinical research aimed at developing plasma-derived products and ensuring their safe and effective use. Our team translates scientific findings into robust, manufacturable and well-characterized processes.

- Working at the interface of science and technology, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from project management, analytics, regulatory affairs, quality, manufacturing, and other functions to address complex scientific and technical challenges.Through your expertise and commitment, you will help advance novel medicinal products, ensuring a continuous improvement that support patient health and safety.

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 4.355,55 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
