About this role

Join our ITS Product organization as a Senior Product Owner, Record to Report, where you'll help shape the future of our global Finance technology ecosystem. In this role, you'll partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions across platforms including Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP, NetSuite, and OneStream. Leveraging your expertise in Record to Report processes and Agile product ownership, you'll translate complex business needs into scalable technology solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and business value.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

- 7+ years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, ERP functional consulting, Finance Technology, or similar roles.

- 5 years working with Finance/ERP applications and processes

- 5 years working specifically with Record to Report (R2R) processes

- 2+ Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model

- 4+ Experience working directly with Finance stakeholders and Engineering/Technology teams

It would be great if you also have…

- Experience across multiple platforms such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud ERP, NetSuite and OneStream.

- Global Finance experience involving multiple countries, currencies, legal entities and accounting requirements.

- Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, transformations or migrations.

- Experience supporting acquisitions, divestitures, legal-entity changes or major organizational transformations.

- Tax process knowledge covering VAT/GST, sales and use tax, withholding tax or statutory reporting.

- Experience with ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara, Oracle E-Business Tax or NetSuite Tax/SuiteTax.

- Experience with Treasury, FP&A or other adjacent Finance processes.

- Experience defining or tracking Finance/product KPIs and driving process automation or continuous improvement.

What will you be doing in this role?

- Lead the execution of the Record to Report product backlog across Oracle ERP, NetSuite and OneStream, delivering high-value capabilities aligned to Finance strategy.

- Partner with the Scrum Master and own Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos and retrospectives.

- Champion Agile best practices, continuously improving backlog quality, team delivery, predictability and ways of working.

- Partner closely with the Product Manager to shape and prioritize the product roadmap and ensure efficient delivery.

- Own product discovery by engaging Finance, Controllership and business users, identifying pain points and translating insights into actionable product decisions.

- Define what the team builds, manage the product backlog and represent business-user needs.

- Translate strategy and business requirements into actionable features, epics and user stories.

- Consider stakeholder feedback, controls, risk and business value when prioritizing the backlog.

- Manage delivery timelines, dependencies and roadmap alignment.

- Partner with Solution Architects to understand technical feasibility, integrations and long-term platform direction.

- Partner with Solution Analysts and Engineering teams to refine user stories and define acceptance criteria.

- Gather requirements across Accounting, Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Audit and other Finance stakeholders.

- Support capabilities across General Ledger, close, intercompany, fixed assets, reconciliations, consolidation and financial reporting.

- Partner with Tax stakeholders on requirements involving tax determination, VAT/GST, sales and use tax, withholding tax, statutory reporting and tax technology integrations.

- Ensure integrations and data flows between ERP, OneStream, Tax platforms and other Finance systems meet business needs.

- Support ERP upgrades, vendor releases, regulatory changes, acquisitions, divestitures and legal-entity changes.

- Be accountable for business acceptance of solutions.

- Define and track R2R KPIs including close cycle time, reconciliation automation, accounting exceptions, process automation and product adoption.

About the Team

You’ll join the ITS Record to Report product team, supporting Accounting, Controllership, Financial Close, Consolidation and Reporting operations, while partnering closely with Global Tax. The team works across Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP, NetSuite, OneStream and connected Tax platforms and partners closely with Finance, Engineering, Architecture and Program Management. This is a highly collaborative environment with complex global processes, strong executive visibility and opportunities to influence our global Finance systems strategy.

Hours of Work

- Full-time, permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to collaborate across global teams as needed.

- This is a hybrid position, requiring 2–3 days/week onsite.

- Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Ann Arbor, MI or Philadelphia, PA.
