emergiTEL is hiring a Print Production Associate . This is a Contract role for 12 months .
Location: Halifax, NS
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Pay: $15.66 - $19.57/hour
Job Description (English)
Essential Functions
- Operate digital print equipment.
- Operate mail inserters and standard finishing equipment, including paper cutters, bindery equipment, laminators, and drills.
- Perform basic quality inspections before, during, and after each production run.
- Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic production issues to meet output, delivery, and quality requirements.
- Lift materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Remain standing and active for up to 80% of the workday.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, develop new skills, and adapt to changing production requirements.
- Maintain patience and a positive attitude in a fast-paced production environment.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe applications, and other relevant software.
Experience
- Previous print production experience is considered an asset.
Education
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary technology training or relevant work experience is preferred.
