About The Team
You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Summary**
Lead and supervise a team of inbound associates, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of incoming goods and materials within JD.com's warehouse operations. This role focuses on optimizing workflow, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a productive team environment.
Job Responsibilities**
* Supervise, train, and motivate a team of inbound associates to achieve daily performance targets and operational goals.
* Oversee the receiving, unloading, sorting, and storage of incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
* Monitor inbound processes for efficiency and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize workflow and reduce cycle times.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards within the inbound department.
* Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development for team members.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as outbound and inventory control, to ensure seamless operational flow.
* Resolve daily operational issues and escalate complex problems to management as necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of inbound activities, including inventory discrepancies and team performance metrics.
* Participate in the development and implementation of new inbound procedures and technologies.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role within an inbound logistics environment.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
