About this role
The Program Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects and programs within the VAVE organization. The role works closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure activities are tracked, risks are identified, and deliverables are completed on time, while gaining broader program management experience and increasing ownership over time.
General Responsibilities
• Participates in all aspects of assigned programs throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints
• Ensure successful and timely completion of project tasks and requirements in a timely and effective manner
• Monitor deadlines, budgets and activities
• Apply change, risk and resource management
• Resolve projects' issues
• Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction and team member performance
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
• Analyzing program risk
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Additional Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, operations, engineering, or a related function.
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.
- Ability to track project schedules, risks, action items, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or product development environment is an advantage.
Gross Annual Salary Range:
24,378.00 EUR - 33,520.30 EUR
The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.
Starting Salary
The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
