Title : Data Operations Analyst, Information Technology
Reports to: Director, Information Technology
Job Summary : The Data Operations Analyst maintains the accuracy, integrity, and usability of Heritage's constituent and campaign data across the CRM and marketing automation platforms. The Analyst builds and maintains digital audiences, executes marketing automation campaigns with a focus on email, and supports CRM administration, including data entry, imports and exports, data hygiene, and system configuration. The Analyst serves as the primary point of contact for end-user support and training on the CRM and marketing automation platforms and collaborates with other departments to ensure clean, reliable data across all systems.
Job Duties:
- Administer CRM solutions: configure permissions, conduct global field changes, manage data imports/exports, and validate that system changes meet specifications.
- Maintain data integrity across the CRM and marketing automation platforms by defining and executing a data hygiene program including merges, purges, updates, de-duplication, and resolution of inconsistent or inaccurate records.
- Assist stakeholders with building and maintaining business rules for digital audience membership, and ensure the ongoing accuracy and availability of priority audiences and segments across channels.
- Support stakeholders in building and executing marketing automation campaigns, including in-system assets such as email templates, landing pages, smart campaigns and lists, reports, and related HTML/CSS and platform-specific markup.
- Facilitate data transfer between systems and third parties, including maintaining data dictionaries for recurring transfers and conducting data-enrichment screenings (e.g., demographic appends).
- Serve as the primary support contact for CRM and marketing automation platforms, field support tickets, troubleshoot user issues, and manage escalation and follow-up with external vendors.
- Manage email deliverability and sender reputation monitoring to maintain strong inbox placement.
- Provide data analysis and fulfill reporting requests related to marketing campaigns, CRM data, and audience performance.
- Partner with the Development team and other departments to ensure accurate data capture and validation from all marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business/Marketing Analytics or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 3+ years of related experience, including implementing digital marketing campaigns and working with CRM systems, relational databases, data hygiene, and reporting metrics.
Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Technology: Proficiency with CRM, marketing automation tools, and Excel is required. Familiarity with HTML/CSS, Power BI, Power Automate, PowerShell, and data-transfer tools such as DropZure is a plus.

- Extremely organized, highly motivated, and flexible in a rapidly changing environment.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 annually. This is a good-faith estimate, and the final salary offered to a selected candidate depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, and other qualifications; internal and external market pay for comparable jobs; and level of hire based on aforementioned qualifications.
