About this role
- Lead, coach and develop the four Team Leaders — Infrastructure & DevOps, Software Platform (Team 2), Software Platform (Team 3), and Data & Intelligence — as direct reports, fostering alignment, accountability and growth across their teams.
- Own the technical roadmap and delivery plan for Addvolt's digital services, ensuring infrastructure, software platforms and data capabilities scale reliably with business growth.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering leadership and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable, prioritized plans across the four teams.
- Drive infrastructure and DevOps maturity (CI/CD, cloud architecture, observability, security, reliability, cost efficiency) to ensure robust and scalable digital operations.
- Oversee the t wo Software Platform teams, ensuring architectural consistency, shared standards, code quality and coordinated release planning across products/platforms.
- Champion the Data & Intelligence team's initiatives — data pipelines, analytics and applied intelligence/ML — to unlock insights and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs and OKRs across all four teams, ensuring predictable delivery, quality and continuous improvement.
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, risks and conflicts, unblocking teams and escalating where needed.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, ownership and continuous learning across the digital services organization.
- Own resourcing, hiring plans and career development pathways for the team leaders and, through them, their teams.
- Repot on digital services performance, roadmap progress and risks to senior leadership.
Background
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- S olid experience in technology/software organizations, including experience managing managers or team leads (not just individual contributors ) >7 years experience.
- Track record leading or working closely with infrastructure/DevOps, software platform, and/or data engineering teams — ideally in IoT, automotive, or energy-related industries.
- Strong technical foundation across cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, software architecture, and data platforms — enough to engage credibly with each of the four team leaders.
- Experience defining technical strategy and roadmaps, and translating business priorities into cross-team engineering execution.
- Strong people leadership skills: coaching team leaders, resolving conflict, and building high-performing, autonomous teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business audiences.
- Data-driven and process-oriented, with experience defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs across multiple teams.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment with evolving priorities.

Pay Range
€35,500.00-€70,500.00
