Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:

As an Enovis Manufacturing Technician, you will take ownership of advanced manufacturing operations, including equipment setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You will partner closely with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes, resolve complex technical challenges, and support continuous improvement while serving as a technical resource and mentor to less experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with engineers on setup, calibration, and validation of production equipment and systems.
- Perform advanced rework, inspection, and quality testing to ensure products meet internal and regulatory specifications.
- Use sophisticated software and programs to collect, analyze, and evaluate operating data.
- Conduct real-time adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment based on data findings.
- Develop and refine manufacturing methods and procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Partner with engineers to conduct experiments and trials supporting process improvements and new product introductions.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for complex production issues.
- Provide training, guidance, and technical leadership to junior technicians and production staff.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, Lean manufacturing, and Kaizen activities.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field preferred.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, production, or process support roles.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment calibration, and quality systems (ISO, FDA, GMP, etc. as applicable).
- Proficient in using data collection and process monitoring software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in resolving complex technical issues.
- Experience serving as a team lead or SME preferred.
