About this role

Purpose
Provide senior scheduling support for the BPAM PMO. Review, build, integrate, and maintain project and program schedules in Primavera and Microsoft Project (or successor tools), evaluate schedule logic, and report progress, cost, and slippage so leadership has an accurate integrated view of the portfolio.
 
Minimum qualifications
• Master’s degree (required) 
• Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience (required) 
• Experience developing schedules in Primavera 
• Experience in construction scheduling 
• Resume must be submitted and approved by the COR and Government client before start 
• Education/experience exceptions, if any, require Government client and COR approval

Preferred qualifications
• Experience integrating multi-project construction or facilities portfolios 
• Experience evaluating contractor, partner-agency, and internal schedules for logic, float, and interdependencies 
• Experience with Microsoft Project in addition to Primavera 
• Familiarity with federal construction programs and partners such as USACE, GSA, and FAA 
• Experience producing variance, performance, and milestone reports for senior Government clients 
• PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent scheduling credential

Primary responsibilities
• Schedule review and recommendations 
• Use Primavera and Microsoft Project (or replacements) to review, evaluate, and recommend changes to project documents such as project schedules and Project Requirement Documents (PRDs). 
• Evaluate schedules provided by contractors, other agencies, and internal entities to confirm they meet project requirements and have sound logic.
• Integrated schedule
• Assist PMO project managers in developing and maintaining all project and program schedules. 
• Make changes and corrections as appropriate to keep project-specific schedules current. 
• Produce an integrated schedule that captures all project schedules and interdependencies. 
• Report variances to a project’s schedule or estimated costs in a Progress Variance Report on the date set by the Government client. 
• Monthly, load the approved integrated schedule in an electronic file format and provide it to the Government client.
• Schedule management
• Prepare comprehensive project schedules and assist with management of project milestones and resources through the project lifecycle. 
• Review project progress, measure performance, and notify the Government client of deviations from current schedule(s) and/or cost(s). 
• Update project schedules monthly to conform to current conditions and submit updated schedules to the Government client. 
• Create monthly Performance Measure Reports that include progress, cost, and slippage data from the previous month and an estimate of progress for the next month.
