Ameren Illinois provides electric transmission and distribution service and natural gas distribution service. Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 816,000 natural gas customers in central and southern Illinois. We deliver safe, reliable energy to more than 1,200 communities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Gas Utilityman Journeyman Welder or Gas Utilityman Apprentice Welder
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must obtain and retain a valid driver’s license and a CDL
- Must have completed Gas Utilityman Apprenticeship
- Must be willing to meet 25-mile domicile requirement
- Must be welder certified
- Behavioral Interview
- CAST-R test
- Gas Evaluations
- This position is covered by the IBEW bargaining agreement.
Or
Gas Utilityman Apprentice

- DOT physical, drug screen, driver qualifications
- Must be willing to meet 25-mile domicile requirement
- Must be welder certified

Hourly Pay:
Grade Step EA 018 Step 1 of 1 (Top Step) - 44.09 USD
