About the Role:
For our Global Headquarters , we are looking for a Commercial Controller for the EU area, who will support the CBO and the Area Marketing into the analysis and tracking of the actual business figures and rolling forecasts (Risk&Opps.) and into the elaboration of Guidelines and strategic plan at Area level.
Main Responsibilities:
As our next team member, you'll be the bridge between the Business Partnering Area, CBO, Area Marketing, Group Reporting and Controlling under the Area Head of Finance's guidance. Your primary mission is to integrate commercial aspects for input guidelines and strategic planning at the Area level, with a focus on planning, communication, and financial analysis. Moreover, achieving an understanding of the business reasons behind the variances of the Actual vs Planning will result to be crucial for this role.
Your role includes guiding the planning process across the Area and Regions, understanding assumptions, and ensuring that Area targets align with Guidelines. You'll work with Area departments to build the Area Budget and Forecasts, including G&A and A&P. Additionally, you'll consolidate and challenge monthly Region Risk & Opportunities and Sales outlook, supporting the CBO.
You will analyze actual monthly figures versus targets, focusing on Price, Volume, and Mix variances. Your role includes overseeing discretionary cash flow, and key financial indicators like DSO, DIO, and DPO.
You'll actively participate in transformational commercial initiatives, ensuring the smooth flow of Group Projects to countries and monitoring their progress. Maintaining Group standards and efficient communication between Country and Group Planning & Controlling will be your crucial responsibilities. This dynamic role offers a significant opportunity to have a great exposure to our main region and senior stakeholder.
About You:
You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration , or a related field, and have gained minimum 3-5 years of experience preferably in Financial Controlling or a similar finance role. You combine a solid financial background with strong analytical capabilities , allowing you to interpret complex financial and operational data and translate it into actionable business insights. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel, together with your familiarity with financial and reporting systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SCOPE , Hyperion, or Oracle, enables you to effectively manage planning, forecasting, and reporting activities.
You are recognized for your results-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving approach. You can balance multiple priorities, challenge assumptions constructively, and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
As a trusted business partner, you build effective relationships with stakeholders at different organizational levels and communicate financial information in a clear and impactful way. Your collaborative attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work within a structured and fast-paced international environment will be key to your success.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
